How should I dress?

The way you dress is not an issue for coming to worship God at First Baptist Branford. Some of our members wear blue jeans while another may wear a dress with high heels or a suit and tie. We ask any who come – members or guests – to dress for a worship service dedicated to a Loving and Holy God. God is more concerned with a person’s heart than their clothes. Keep this in mind and you’ll fit right in.

When should I arrive and where should I go?

It is a good idea to get to the location 10 to 15 minutes before the service to give you a chance to find your way to the service and find a seat. Sunday services are located in the Christian Life Center, next door to the Branford Library. If you need to take advantage of our nursery and preschool, those can also be found in the Christian Life Center.

On Wednesdays, we invite your entire family meet us in the Christian Life Center, for our weekly Family Night Worship.  This is a unique opportunity for families to gather around tables and discuss what we have been reading during the week in our Quiet Time Journals.  Don’t miss this intimate time centered on reading and applying God’s Holy Word.

What Do You Believe?

First Baptist Church of  Branford  is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention and holds to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000, a detailed statement of faith. This statement is comprehensive and provides numerous scripture references for the different areas of faith. A study of the Bible verses called out in this document can be a helpful starting point for the development of a Biblical understanding of many different issues and is recommended.
