Our Faith and Mission
Statement of Purpose
First Baptist Church of Branford Florida is a place where faith, family, and friends come together for worship, instruction, fellowship, and evangelism. The Bible is our guide to faith and practice and is exhibited in our worship and in our daily living. The scriptures are not dead but a living word from our heavenly father and our Lord Jesus Christ. We assemble regularly to praise and worship our Lord as well as receive instruction from his word. We confess our Lord in Baptism and in communion which portrays his death, burial, and resurrection until he returns.
Our Mission
As a body of believers who have individually trusted Jesus Christ as our savior, our goal is to be a clear light in a dark world. We manifest the reality of a living Lord in Jesus Christ who changes us daily by his work in our lives.
The Bible
All 66 books of the Bible are inspired by God and are his completed revelation to mankind. He is revealed in creation, shining by day and illuminating the night in every corner and crevice of this universe. Man is accountable to respond to that light and when he does, God provides more revelation of himself through the scriptures or personal witness.
